Prepare Your Tools
You will need:
- Tweezers (to remove hairs between the brows)
- Small scissors (to trim hairs that are too long)
- A fine comb (an old toothbrush works too)
- Moisturizer
Tip: Shape your brows after a shower. Heat opens pores, hairs soften, and plucking with tweezers hurts much less.
At-home grooming steps
-
Clear the unibrow
- Focus on the area above the root of the nose. With tweezers, remove all hairs growing in the middle between both brows.
- Always work in the direction of growth and pull quickly so it hurts less.
-
Trim the length
- Comb the brows upward toward the forehead with a fine comb.
- Carefully trim with scissors any hairs that clearly stick out above your natural brow line. Never shorten the whole brow, only the stray long pieces.
-
Clean up the lines
- If a few lone hairs sit high on the temples or on the cheekbones where they do not belong, pluck them.
- Finish by applying a little moisturizer to treated areas so the skin does not turn red.
