Interview with Filip

We bring you a series of interviews with our colleagues. We ask them different questions to introduce them in more detail.

At Kačerov your favorites include low fade and side part - why does that classic never get old?

Side part is timeless. It can look elegant or modern depending on length and product. Low fade adds cleanliness and keeps the line even a week later if the client maintains it a bit. With classics, millimeters matter - it is not boring, it is craft.

Beard coloring - when does it make sense and when do you push back?

It makes sense to unify tone, cover greys, or emphasize shape. I push back when the beard is damaged by home chemistry or when someone expects a miracle in one pass. I prefer saying color is a process. Clients appreciate honesty more than empty promises.

How do you treat detail on shorter cuts like a crop?

With a short cut there is nowhere to hide a mistake. Every line around the ear and nape must be clean. A crop should look simple, but that simplicity hides a lot of blend and texture work. I like showing clients how to restyle it at home in a few seconds with one hand.

What recharges you away from the chair?

Sport and music. A training session after work clears my head. Music keeps my pace - even in the salon on tough days. No big philosophy, but it works.
