We bring you a series of interviews with our colleagues. We ask them different questions to introduce them in more detail.
You work at Hagibor. What do you enjoy most about working with clients?
I enjoy it when someone leaves with a cut that fits their life, not only an Instagram photo. I like to ask how much time they want to spend on styling at home, then suggest a shape that works. Hagibor moves fast, so I keep the service thorough but calm.
Burst fade and mullet are among your favorites. Who are they best for?
Burst fade suits clients who want a clean blend and strong shape without going skin-tight on top. Mullet is for bolder types who want short front and length in the back. Same rule for both: it has to match hair structure, otherwise they cannot maintain it at home.
You also cut hair for children up to 12. How do you handle a first visit in the chair?
I give it more time and less pressure. A short talk with the parent first, then I slowly show tools so the child knows what is happening. If they are nervous, I shorten steps and praise small progress. The goal is not a perfect fade, but a return visit without fear.
We can speak Czech and English with you. When does that help most?
With expats who look for a barber in Prague for the first time and worry about details. When I explain fade, length, and home care in their language, decisions are faster and results are more accurate. Same for families where parents speak Czech and kids prefer English.
