We bring you a series of interviews with our colleagues. We ask them different questions to introduce them in more detail.
You work at Kačerov and Hagibor - do clients want different things?
Yeah, quite a bit. At Kačerov you see more classic cuts and quick tidy-ups before work. At Hagibor we more often do bolder looks - mullets, fade combos, more experiments. Switching branches forces me to stay flexible and match the pace of the day.
Mullet and taper fade - why do you enjoy those cuts?
Because they are not only about the clipper - they are about proportion. A mullet has to fit hair type and build, otherwise it looks cheap. A taper fade adds structure and cleanliness. I like it when a client brings a photo and we adapt it to reality - not copy-paste, but a version that actually suits them.
How do you see your approach - precise craftsman or creative?
Both. The base must be precise - lines, blends, symmetry. Creativity comes after. When technique is under control, you can play with texture or length. Clients feel that. They sense order in your hands, but you are not a machine.
What keeps you in the craft long term?
A fair team and the feeling I can still grow. Every month someone brings a cut I have not done yet, and I enjoy that. And when a client comes back saying people compliment their haircut - that is the best feedback.
